GE Transitions: Summer 2024 Funding Opportunities

The CSU Chancellor’s Office has authorized one-time funding to support implementation of the new CSU General Education Unified Pathway, which will take effect in Fall 2025. These types of campus-wide events require campus-wide involvement to successfully and safely execute each Commencement Ceremony.

I am excited to announce that Dr. Ron Rogers will take up the permanent position of Vice Provost for Academic Innovation and Institutional Effectiveness effective immediately. This new role combines efforts that Ron has been leading in his interim role, as he has helped to build and launch 菠菜网lol正规平台 Online, with various aspects of our campus’ assessment and institutional evaluation infrastructure, bringing together two diverse but overlapping portfolio’s into one vice provost position. Ron has established himself over the last several years as a valued campus leader and colleague and I know he is excited to bring his creative energy to the work of this new portfolio as we continue to build programs that reach new communities of learners and meet the requirements of our WSCUC Accreditation, among other issues.

Continuing Efforts to Meet the Goals of GI 2025

In October, we received our most recent report from the Chancellor’s Office outlining our successes related to and ongoing challenges associated with GI 2025. 那份报告显示我们已经超过了四年的毕业期限 goal of 35% by two percentage points already! I want to thank everyone for your input into the process for choosing an Interim Dean of the College of Social Sciences.
